JW to speak at UX Panel

Jeroen Wijering, the creator of JW Player will be part of a panel discussion this Tuesday at the Meetup.com headquarters, and he will be discussing the evolving concept of “seamless technology”. Jeroen will be joined by Will McLeod of Keen Home, Daniel Klainbaum of Moment Design, and David Antunes of Applico, Inc. Each of the panelists have their own ideas of what “seamless technology” means to them and to our future, and we can’t wait to be a part of the discussion that will follow.

We would love for you to join us at the Panel! You’ll have a chance to ask Jeroen and the other panelists questions, as well as enjoy a drink or two at the Meetup Headquarters. To RSVP (it’s free!) and find more information, head over to the event page on Meetup.com.

What comes to mind when you hear the term, “seamless technology”? For some, it means seamless experiences between devices. For others, it’s distinct products that interface smoothly with one another, saving us time and energy. Still more, it can be thought of as closing the gap in communication between humans and tech. How do visual design, UX, and engineering combine to provide this seamlessness? Where will it take us in the future?

At JW Player, when we hear “seamless technology,” we think of our mission: Video Everywhere. With video at the core of a growing majority of online experiences, we are passionate about being at the forefront of creative vision and advances in technology that will propel us into a completely seamless digital world. From the Chromecast integration in JW Player 6.9, to exploring 360° video and more, JW Player is already driving towards this goal.
